Our Lansing Area Emmaus Community wishes to keep our members informed of current or upcoming events and items of interest on this page. More details can be found in the current newsletter, the "Lansing Emmaus Community Footprints".

The May Gathering will be held at Trinity UMC in Lansing (See the Maps Page if you need directions)

Here is a "first". We are all cordially invited to the wedding of Tom Mason and Lori Randall. The wedding will take place as part of the May Gathering at Trinity UMC in Lansing. We will have our usual potluck starting at 6:30, have communion at 7:00. That will be followed by the wedding, which will be followed by wedding cake.

Renee Hahn (violin) and her mom (piano) have just finished their first professionally recorded CD entitled "Three Generations Praise." Her 2 sons also join mom and grandma on the CD. Aaron plays the drum set, and Kyle plays his tuba and viola.

The CD will be available at Emmaus Gatherings or via snail mail on a donation basis. 1/3 of the donations received at Emmaus Gatherings for the CD's will come directly back to the LAE to be used at the Board's discretion (mattress fund or computer repair or replacement).

The tunes on the CD are all praise and worship songs, and include all the music Renee has played for Emmaus Dinner Entertainment (including the bagpipe, hoedown, angry and peaceful Amazing Grace!)

Suggested donation is $15 (if mailed) or $10 if picked up at a Gathering. But, any amount will be accepted (less or more :0)
